The ability to give presentations in a clear and engaging way is a must-have skill for any speaker who wants to make an impact on an audience and get lasting results. However, as an expert who speaks, how can you be sure that you are presenting your message in a way that delivers the most value to the audience? How can you be sure that you are connecting with your audience right from the start, and speaking in a way that is relevant to them, so that they hang on your every word – right until the end? 

A well-structured speech – complete with defined points, engaging stories, and all the other pieces that make up a “good” presentation – is always a fundamental starting point. However, these elements may not be enough to captivate your audience and showcase your expertise. What we, as speakers, now need to do is to take a step back from our content and assess it in a completely different way, from both a structural AND communication perspective, in order to achieve maximum impact, engage our audiences and get the results we want.  

In this session, Suzannah will share important tools to re-assess, re-evaluate, and re-create how you deliver your expertise, and how to recognize and adapt your communication style to match what your audience needs to hear. This, in turn, will allow you to provide greater impact, more value, and leave your audience wanting more.

• The 3 questions to need to ask yourself before starting to craft your presentation to get clear on your essential message

• An easy – and necessary – framework to create structured, engaging and compelling presentations 

• How to recognize the different communications styles and needs of our audiences, and adapt ourselves accordingly
